Attack in the sacred city of Anuradhapura

LTTE Genocide

On 14’th May 1985, LTTE terrorists shot and killed 120 devotees, including children and wounded 85 others in the sacred Buddhist city of Anuradhapura.

These terrorist supporters living in the UK, Canada, Australia and the USA conducted propaganda, fundraising, and procurement of weapons to conduct terrorist attacks in Sri Lanka. Today they are masquerading as human rights activists.

The LTTE remains an active organization overseas

ban ltte

The LTTE remains an active organization overseas. Despite the military defeat of the LTTE in Sri Lanka, the LTTE remains intact overseas. Those who formed the LTTE overseas network that engaged in propaganda, fund raising, procurement and shipping are still committed to the LTTE mission and vision of using violence to achieve their political goal.

The centre of gravity of the LTTE is Europe. Through front, cover and sympathetic organizations, the LTTE operates in Europe engaged in support activities. Half a dozen attempts to revive the LTTE in Sri Lanka since its defeat in May 2009 has been traced back to Europe.
A few hundred LTTE terrorists that engaged in bombings, assassinations and other acts of terror live in Europe. It is paramount that Europe does not become a safe haven for the LTTE to disrupt the fragile peace in Sri Lanka’s north and east where the communities are now coming together to coexist harmoniously.

Canadian and Norwegian separatist elements working hard with TNA to  secure the largest group of rehabilitated former LTTE.
Is there a Vision to prevent this?
Or does the Sri Lankan regime remain apathetic?
Respect the wishes of this group of people, who want the security so that their future can be ensured without being forced into a renewed battle?

Rehabilitated EX-LTTE Cadres Protest Against Army managed Farms Providing Jobs to Them Being Transferred to Northern Provincial Council

By Ananth Palakidnar

Several hundred rehabilitated ex-LTTE cadres, both men and women, presently serving in the Civil Security Department (CSD), staged a demonstration yesterday against the handing over of Army-managed agricultural farms and pre-schools to the Northern Provincial Council.

The procession of ex-LTTE cadres, which commenced at the Kilinochchi Depot junction, on the A-9 highway, ended at the Kilinochchi District Secretariat.

A large number of rehabilitated former LTTE cadres, carrying placards went in the procession, chanting slogans demanding that their livelihood not be hampered by handing over the agricultural farms, managed by the Army, to the Northern Provincial Council.

The participants at the demonstration pointed out that more than 10,000 ex-LTTE cadres would be jobless if the farms run by the Army are taken over by the NPC and they would also be mismanaged. According to the participants, each person employed at the agricultural farms managed by the Army, earns nearly Rs 30,000 and the payment is made by the Ministry Defence.

They also pointed out that a large number of rehabilitated ex-women cadres and women from the families living below the poverty line have also been employed by the Civil Security Department (CSD) as pre-school teachers. The demonstrators pointed out that the CDS trained pre-school teachers would also be in dilemma if the NPC takes over the pre-schools. A petition, urging the government not to get rid of the Army managed agricultural farms and the pre-schools, run by the CDS, was handed over to the District Secretary of Kilinochchi by the protestors yesterday.
